We would like to congratulations to our High School graduates. We had students representing Cedar Springs, Lakeview, and Tri-County High School. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors. May you always call upon the Holy Spirit to strengthen you and help guide you throughout life.
We are very pleased to announce that we have new apparel for our altar servers. The old albs were becoming worn and discolored. We now have sharp looking servers dressed in black cassocks with white surplices. This project of acquiring new garb began multiple years ago when parishioner Gordie Humm passed away. A fund was started at that time by the generosity of many family and friends to get these new garments. Then Covid hit; the supplier was unable to fulfill orders; too much time passed. Finally this spring, with the contributions of many others along the way, we have purchased new vestments for both church locations. Pictured are two of our altar servers and Diana Jacobs, Gordie’s wife. Thank you for persevering on this project. Thank you to everyone who donated.
We would like to welcome Camila Faye to our parish family. She was baptized at Christ the King Church in Howard City on November 13th. She is pictured with her parents, Nolan and Valeria Adamski, and her godparents, David Tarin and Violeta Tarin, along with Fr. James VanderLaan and Deacon Rick Dubridge. Welcome, little one, and may the Holy Spirit be upon you!
