Emma made her First Communion on Sunday, July 26, 2020.
Category: Announcements
COVID slowed us down, but we were finally able to begin having our First Communions. Congratulations to Sam and Makenzie on making their First Communions on Sunday, June 28th.
The obligation to attend Mass each week has been lifted/extended until July 31, 2020. Here is an excerpt from the Bishop’s letter.
“The dispensation is granted broadly to ensure that anyone who needs to stay home to protect the common good can do so confidently, in good conscience. But those who are truly able to attend Mass should remember that we are transformed by being joined to Christ in the Eucharist. Only a weighty reason should keep us from being sanctified through participation in and our reception of Christ’s body and blood.”
