We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our very involved parishioner, Ed Kentgen. May he and all the faithful, departed souls rest in peace.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 4-6 pm at Christ the King Church, 9596 N. Reed Rd. There will be a vigil prayer service at 5:30 pm.
Visitation will continue on Monday, March 11, from 10-11 am. The funeral Mass will begin at 11 am. A luncheon will follow in Fellowship Hall.
Cremation and burial will take place at a later time.

Is your family getting a new TV or computer for Christmas? Do you have a big screen device that’s not being used? 
We are looking for a large screen TV or monitor to use at our Lakeview location so we can stream video to the basement when we need overflow seating. This would be especially useful during the summer when so many lake residents are in town. If you’ve ever been to Mass at St. Francis on Memorial Day or Labor Day weekends then you know what I’m talking about! So if you have an extra flat screen that we could mount on the wall and use for viewing purposes, please consider donating it for this reason. Thank you for your consideration!

We lost our dear sister, Imelda Kring, at the beginning of the month. We will commend her into the mercy of God at her funeral Mass this weekend. Please join us at St. Francis de Sales Church in Lakeview on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at noon. Immediately following the Mass, burial will happen at Lakeview Cemetery. All are invited for a luncheon at United Church of Christ, Lakeview.

Just 3 more days until the Christian Service Fall Bazaar and Craft Show!!! Please plan to join us in Fellowship Hall on Saturday, October 21st, from 10 am until 3 pm.
We need shoppers, and we could also use a few extra hands to help out during the show. Baked goods are needed to be sold at the Bake Sale and for concessions. You can drop off items at the parish office on weekdays, or at Fellowship Hall on the day of the event.

It’s getting close to our annual Craft Show/Bazaar at Christ the King in Howard City. October 21st from 10 am- 3 pm. You don’t want to miss this great show! We have a lot of great crafters and vendors. It’s a great time to start Christmas shopping. Can’t wait to see you all there!
We are saddened to announce the passing of parishioner Connie Lund. She was a long-time member at St. Francis de Sales. Her funeral will be on Saturday, October 7, 2023. Visitation will be at 10 am with the Mass beginning at 11 am. Fr. Bill Zink will be officiating. There will be a luncheon immediately following at Brigham Funeral Chapel, Lakeview. Interment will happen in the afternoon at Resurrection Cemetery in Wyoming, MI. Please see her obituary for more details.
